Sorch
A recruiter that makes a thousand calls before lunch. Sorch is an AI recruiting agent that phones every candidate, runs the screening conversation, checks what matters for the role and hands humans a shortlist — with transcripts and scores. Built for maritime crews, made for any role where hiring still runs on phone calls.

The problem
Whole industries still hire by phone. Seafarers, drivers, warehouse staff, technicians, security, field sales — the people behind blue-collar work rarely live in inboxes, so recruiters spend their days dialing hundreds of numbers to ask the same questions. Most of those calls end in a no, and the good candidates are gone by the time someone calls back.
What I built
Recruiters describe the role, drop in a pile of CVs, and the agent starts dialing straight away — in parallel, at any hour. It holds a natural screening conversation, checks what the role demands (rank and STCW certificates for seafarers; licences, shifts, location or experience for everyone else) and returns every candidate with a transcript, an AI score, strengths and red flags. The manual calling disappears; recruiters only spend time on people worth hiring. It went live first in maritime hiring, one of the hardest places to recruit by phone.
Where it stands
Live in production for maritime recruitment — the same agent adapts to any role you can screen with a phone call.
