Salex
The whole salon, run from one phone. Salex gives salon and beauty-parlour owners a single app for appointments, staff, inventory, expenses and income — while their customers book straight from WhatsApp in a few taps, no app to install. Plus a marketplace to discover salons across Mumbai.

The problem
Most salons run on a diary, a calculator and a WhatsApp chat that never stops. Bookings get lost in phone tag, stock runs out unnoticed, staff schedules live in someone's head, and at the end of the month nobody's quite sure what came in and what went out. Customers, meanwhile, won't install yet another app just to book a haircut.
What I built
Co-built the full Salex system, on both sides of the counter. For owners: one mobile app to run the entire business — appointments, staff, inventory, expenses and income, all in one place. For customers: a booking flow that lives inside WhatsApp — scan a QR code, pick a service and a slot, confirmed. And salexnow.com, a marketplace for finding local salons by area and treatment, booking straight into WhatsApp.
Where it stands
In use by salons in Mumbai.
